Terms of Service
How finspace works, what you can do with it, and what finspace does not do for you.

Scope of service
Finspace is a personal tool that helps you record and track your assets in one place: cash, deposits, gold, open-end funds, and liabilities. Finspace is not a brokerage, not a bank, does not hold your funds, and does not place trades on your behalf.
Account and authentication
Your account is managed through Better-Auth, which stores only your email, display name, and a hashed password. You are responsible for keeping your credentials safe. If you suspect unauthorised access, change your password and contact us.
Data ownership
All the data you enter into finspace — assets, goals, DCA history — belongs to you. Finspace stores and processes that data as a data processor solely to provide the service to you. We do not sell your data to third parties.
No investment advice
Finspace is not a financial adviser and does not recommend buying, selling, or holding any asset. All numbers, charts, allocation suggestions, and other information shown in the app are for informational purposes only. Investment decisions are yours, and you should consider consulting a licensed professional before committing funds.
AI assistant
The AI assistant is opt-in and disabled by default. You must enable it in Settings before using it. When enabled, the AI only reads your data to answer questions — it cannot create, modify, or delete assets, goals, or transactions. Your data is not used to train models. AI answers are informational only and are not investment advice.
Exchange rates and reference prices
Foreign exchange rates, gold prices, and net asset values (NAV) for open-end funds come from third-party data sources. Finspace refreshes them periodically but does not guarantee accuracy or timeliness. Before any transaction, verify the figures with the official source.
Permitted use
Finspace is intended for personal, non-commercial use. You may not scrape data, brute-force credentials, distribute malicious code, or use the service in ways that could harm other users or the system.
User rights and responsibilities
You may access, edit, and export your data at any time. In return, please enter data as accurately as you can, keep your device and account secure, and let us know if you find a bug or security issue.
Termination
You may delete your account and all associated data at any time from Settings. Finspace may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with reasonable prior notice where circumstances allow.
Changes to these terms
Finspace may update these terms over time as the product and regulations evolve. For material changes, we will display an in-app notice before the new terms take effect, so you have time to review them.

Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Vietnam. Any dispute arising from or related to the use of finspace will be resolved by the competent courts in Hanoi, Vietnam.
